family life

dont worry everyone... we are still alive. sleep derivation is nonexistant with the new baby and no josh and i havent killed eachother off yet. (i know all of you are just waiting for it.) Addison is growing and is super cute. she has begun smiling and cooing at us on demand.. except when i finally get grandma on the phone to listen to addie talk then she is absolutely silent. as we all knew before she was born.. she can be very stubborn. addie is almost grown out of her newborn clothes now that she is just over two months old! she is very tall and scrawny and im confused about where my genes come into the picture but she is very adorable. josh is working very hard in sheridan, wy and the work is beginning to pick up because winter is coming. we think he might even be working through fridays now because of the intense workload. we arent very excited to have daddy gone more than he is home but if that is what we have to deal with to pay the bills then so be it. we were planning to be home for thanksgiving and again at christmas but now we arent sure if josh will have to work or not over this next week. our plans are still squishy but hopefully all will work out so we can see the family and josh can enjoy a vacation. im very excited about the big craft fair this year and im hoping i can make it into town before i miss the big girls day out. josh and i are also very excited to attend the forgotten carols for our third year in a row together. this will also mark the first time that we leave addie with a sitter. we are both very nervous at the idea of that but im sure it will be o.k. Twilight also comes out this weekend and im looking forward to catching that while im in idaho! dont worry im not one of those wierdos who will be standing in line overnight or anything but my excitement is at a normal level for a bored housewife looking for a few hours of fantasy. haha. well we hope to see all of you sometime or another during the holidays! have fun christmas shopping! i know i will!
