accident prone!!

Well as most of you know by now, Josh hurt his knee a few weeks ago at a friends wedding. If you want a good laugh call him and have him tell you the story, i get a kick out of it every time i hear him tell it! Some of you may think im heartless but after almost 3 weeks of waiting on him hand and foot and being 33 weeks pregnant im pretty sick of playing nursemaid and i think i deserve to occasionally get a laugh out of his "pain". anyways, he hurt it on a saturday night (12th)when we were in idaho and we couldnt get him in to a wyoming doctor until the following thursday (17th) and they ordered an m.r.i. the next day (18th). we didnt expect to hear about the results until the next tuesday or wednesday which means if surgery was nessesary it wouldnt happen until the next tuesday(29th)! (im glad he wasnt in extreme pain or anything since we were in for a long wait.) we ended up hearing back from the doctor on the monday following the m.r.i. and josh was in for an arthroscopy (scope surgery) the next day! it turned out that he had only broken off some cartilage under the knee cap and the a.c.l. was intact. we really were quite lucky given the situation and hopefully josh will be back to work in another 2 weeks. hopefully. he is feeling pretty good i think and is always getting better. i think he is beginning to see how tired i am of being pregnant and having to help him out more than usual so he is trying to get more mobile. we have had a pretty exciting few weeks and the baby will be here soon! both of us are getting really excited to hold the baby and to feel like a family instead of newlyweds. thanks for all of your support!

getting to know Josh

Josh is a very kind, funny, and hard working man. He recently graduated from the Northwest Lineman College in Meridian, ID, and is currently employed in an apprenticeship in Powell, Wyoming. He enjoys his job very much and is hoping to eventually be employed in south eastern Idaho so we can raise our family close to home. Josh played football and basketball in high school and still enjoys some competition every now and then. He knows 'almost' every word to any country song ever written and loves to play "Who sings it?" with me in the car. I try to let him win on occasion:) We have been married for a year and a half and i cant imagine my life without him. He works very hard to support our family and he rarely complains about me being a lazy housewife. I love him very much and i cant wait for our daughter to meet and love her daddy like i do.
